- ★ ☆ ☆ ☆ ☆This bank is horrible and would switch if I could. They no longer have a drive thru and expect you to either go in or bank through the ATM. When I went in, they told me they no longer do money orders and a cashier check is $10. They charged $5 for a money order when they had them. Their fees are high and they have lost touch with customer service. They also don't do small loans for debt consolidation. I went over to UMB bank and their money orders were only $2.50 so I feel like Bank of America rips off their customers. When I was at the Independence location on Noland road, they only had one teller working, a line to the door, and he told me they are cutting back employees....another location without a drive thru. With eliminating services and employees, I feel like this bank is doing less for the customers so they can pocket more money.By Kerri R, March 25, 2017
